The Macallan Red Ribbon 1950

This is a rare bottle of Macallan single malt  distilled in 1950 and bottled in the early 1980's. The bottle  has a handwritten label  with a red ribbon adorning this highly collectible vintage bottle, presented with a charming wooden presentation case. This whisky is premium Macallan from the distillery's earliest foray into bottling their own single malts. It is part of a series of vintage releases, all with handwritten labels that include a 1940, 1950, 1957 and a rare 1973. All were bottled between 1980 and 1983.
